World Green Roof Conference

This World Green Roof Conference (WGRC) will be held in the three most special cities of Hainan (Haikou, Boao and Sanya). WGRC wants to further the cause of roof greening, vertical planting and ecological restoration and improve the various technologies for ecological, environmental protection and sustainable development through international communication, issuing the Oscar awards of architecture greening, forum and training, qualification certification.
Hainan Island China, is the international tourism island and the largest Special Economic Zone (SEZ) approved by Chinese government. Hainan Island has paid much attention to environmental protection, developing a large number of scenic spots with tourism brand and high-end hotel, and making great efforts in energy-saving, low-carbon, roof-greening and vertical planting of architectures.
