DAVE COLEMAN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dave joined CITO in 2007 as Director of Operations and has recently been appointed as the Executive Director of the organization. Dave is responsible for the management of program development activities for CITO’s 33 trades as well as meeting with industry groups, training providers and other stakeholder groups to ensure training programs meet industries needs. Dave has worked in the construction sector for over 40 years and completed his apprenticeship in 1977. He brings over twenty years of field and administration experience in the BC apprenticeship training system.

MICHELLE MCKINNON, CONTROLLER/MANAGER OF APPRENTICESHIP SERVICES
Michelle brings over 19 years of experience to CITO working with the BC apprenticeship training system. She has worked extensively with apprentices, employers and training providers. As Manager of Apprenticeship Services, Michelle is responsible for supporting BC apprentices and employers on completion of their certification programs. As a Financial Controller for CITO, she is responsible for the financial wellbeing of the organization and works closely with the CITO board. Michelle holds a Provincial Instructors Diploma as well as a certificate in accounting.

LAURA CHASTON, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Laura started working with CITO at the start of 2009 and and is tasked with a host of administrative and program development responsibilities.  CITO's 33 trades keeps her very busy with the constant attention required to ensure that BC is always in step with the National Standards and the latest requirements from the various trades groups.

SUNILA THOMAS, OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR
Sunila worked in the apprenticeship training system for over 5 years with the Sheet Metal industry before joining CITO. She is responsible for managing the more than 800 challenger applications CITO receives annually as well as the extensive work being done in the examination field.

BEA WALTERS, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Bea holds an Interprovincial Red Seal designation and before coming to CITO worked as a trade’s instructor for more than 15 years. Bea is responsible for the facilitation of program reviews and exam bank development for CITO’s trades.

JAN WIEBE, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Jan brings over 20 years experience to CITO from working within the Manitoba and BC apprenticeship and college training systems. As a program development officer Jan is responsible for the facilitation of program and exam bank development activities.
